It’s been a busy couple of weeks for us at Easy Edit Video & Power Web Videos. Our two
companies recently merged and we’ve been busy with several productions on-location and in

Last week Hunger Fight held a groundbreaking for their new building which will allow them to
provide millions of more meals a year to hungry local children. Hunger Fight’s motto is. “Food

Easy Edit Video shooting and editing CCPAC certification study guide.

The  Certified Claims Professional Accreditation Council is creating a new video study guide designed to prepare claims professionals to take their certification exam.
 

Ninety minutes in length and with nearly 200 power point slides, Easy Edit Video recorded both the host’s on-camera segments and voiceover, then will edit the final video together.

Executive Producer Charlene Shirk coordinated the shoot between CCPAC and Easy Edit Video.

CCPAC is a non-profit organization that seeks to raise the professional standards of individuals who specialize in the administration and negotiation of freight claims.

The certification recognizes those who have acquired the necessary degree of experience, education and expertise in domestic and international freight claims to warrant acknowledgment of their professional stature.

This Jacksonville video production project took place in Easy Edit Video’s green screen studio.

Making driving more comfortable is the goal of Plush Automotive Pedal Covers and company president Darnella Sims now has a new marketing video for her product.

Elastic bands enable the pads to fit snugly and securely over your pedals.   Made with faux suede, high density cushion and elasticity, the covers also provide added traction for your shoes and features a non-skid base.

Plush Pedal Covers are custom made to fit all Freightliner and Volvo Trucks.

Easy Edit Video recorded Ms. Sims in their green screen studio.  Sims says “the covers slide over your brake, clutch and gas pedals and are designed to protect your car’s pedals while providing overall comfort to your feet when driving.”

Preparing for a Green Screen Video Shoot: Our Series Continues

Easy Edit Video’s Green Screen Studio in Jacksonville, Florida. Let’s make your next video project a reality!

When you work with Easy Edit Video’s team, we make it easy for you and we are here every step of the day. To ensure a successful production, you want to be prepared for your shoot. Here is what we recommend:

1.  Have a Pre-Production Meeting.
Determine video content and objectives. 
Decide your goals and topics to be included.
Determine what the background(s) will look like BEFORE the shooting…logos, designs, colors, etc.
If possible, create a storyboard to show how the speaker will appear on the background.  

2.  Write your script or create an outline.
The script is what you say when you are on-camera.  The green screen video production script is the basis of  your project.

3.  E-mail us a copy of your approved script.
Do it a day or two before your shoot so we can load it into our teleprompter.

Our teleprompter is completely customizable to suit your needs.
If necessary, we can also make last minute revisions when you are here.

Let’s begin with some background…..
Shooting in a green screen studio allows you to completely control your environment.
With video effects and technology, you can:
1.  superimpose your subjects onto virtual backgrounds
2.  place them over animated digital backdrops
3.  transport them into any scene you desire.

So how does it work…..?
Green Screen Production uses a process known as chroma-keying which enables the editor to combine two images or shots together. 
This is done by removing a single color (in this case green) from one scene and  replacing the affected area with a different image or scene.
Once a green screen is identified and digitally removed, just about anything can be added back in, while the parts of the original image that are not green remain unaffected.
